Food Events
Having food as part of a larger event or as an event itself can provide a tremendous
amount of enjoyment and fun. However, for the organizers of such an event, there is
also a tremendous responsibility to ensure the food supply is safe and that all
applicable health codes are followed. Foodborne illness continues to be a significant
problem, with the latest estimate of 76 million cases each year in the United States
alone. For this reason the foodservice industry is highly regulated by federal,
state, and local governments. The links below will provide information to help you
