Catering Information

Caterers who meet the University’s requirements for service to the University of Rochester are identified on the Approved Caterer List.   The caterers listed have provided their websites and contact information.  Please contact the caterer directly with questions about the services they are able to provide.

Food and beverage services in the Medical Center are available from Food & Nutrition Services - call 275-3392.  University of Rochester Dining Services (call 275-0852 or 275-7687) is a resource for all University of Rochester Events. 

For all student sponsored events which will include food and beverages, please have the Student Advisor contact the Wilson Commons Student Activities at 275-9390 for assistance with the process to review and approve food plans.

Caterers on the Approved Caterer List are those who have demonstrated the willingness and ability to meet the University’s wide variety of catering needs, or who are recognized as excelling in a unique food service.  Should there be the need to select a caterer not on the Approved Caterer List, please complete a Catering Waiver Application as soon as possible. Submitting a Waiver Application is not a guarantee of approval of the caterer.  The event location will determine to whom you need to send or fax the form

The Department of Events and Classroom Management at 275-4111 is available to assist departments with organizing an event on River Campus.  The Institute for Innovative Education, Center for Experiential Learning in the Medical Center through the Events Coordinator, Joshua Skolnik at 276-7062, is available to assist departments and programs with hosting an event at the Medical School, Kornberg Medical Research Building or Flaum Atrium.
