Chematix System Requirements

Chematix is a hosted, web-based chemical management software package. The University of Rochester version has been configured to our needs.

The login URL is as follows: https://www.rochester.chematix.com/Chematix/ (Copy and paste into your browser.)

Chematix will also be used to assist the University community in managing laboratory risks and to provide real-time data in the event of an emergency.

To use Chematix, you will need the following:

• Internet connected device (e.g. computer, tablet, iPAD, smart phone)
• Web browser (i.e. Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Google Chrome) set to allow pop-up windows
• Access to a printer for printing chemical waste cards
• A valid UR NetID (http://wwww.rochester.edu/it/netid/)
