• Medical Lasers: The policies and practices established are to be followed to protect Strong Memorial Hospital employees against health hazards associated with the operation of medical lasers.

• Research Lasers: The program was implemented to provide for the registration of research lasers and to provide a basic training program for the use of research lasers. Departments can elect to use this program or implement a more extensive Departmental Laser Training Program.
