Special Fire Safety
Considerations for Towers and Hill Court Residents
- Entryway
to suite must be free of trip hazards (i.e.: shoes & mats)
- Electrical closets may NOT be used to store any items
- Items in storage closet may not be stacked to ceiling
- No cooking in unapproved area (i.e.: setting up fridge, microwave and illegal
toaster oven in a hall closet)
- No cords running through any doorway
- No paper items on or around stove top, and no storage on top of upper cabinets (storage
too close to ceiling)
- Fire door leading to bedroom hallway may not be propped open
- No shoes, mats or anything else may be left in bedroom hallway that could be a
trip hazard
- Balcony may not be overcrowded
- The path to the balcony door must have be clear and unobstructed from inside the suite
as well as outside
- All items listed as prohibited items are prohibited in Hill Court (extension cords, upward facing lamps, toaster ovens, string lights, candles, tapestries, banners, etc.)
