Special Fire Safety Considerations for Towers and Hill Court Residents

  1. Entryway to suite must be free of trip hazards (i.e.: shoes & mats)
  2. Electrical closets may NOT be used to store any items
  3. Items in storage closet may not be stacked to ceiling
  4. No cooking in unapproved area (i.e.: setting up fridge, microwave and illegal toaster oven in a hall closet)
  5. No cords running through any doorway
  6. No paper items on or around stove top, and no storage on top of upper cabinets (storage too close to ceiling)
  7. Fire door leading to bedroom hallway may not be propped open
  8. No shoes, mats or anything else may be left in bedroom hallway that could be a trip hazard
  9. Balcony may not be overcrowded
  10. The path to the balcony door must have be clear and unobstructed from inside the suite as well as outside
  11. All items listed as prohibited items are prohibited in Hill Court (extension cords, upward facing lamps, toaster ovens, string lights, candles, tapestries, banners, etc.)
